| Author: | Turner, Rebecca |
| Abstract: | In the 2006-07 Award Holder Scheme 14 HE in FE practitioners were given the opportunity to develop their scholarly activity and research profiles with the support of the HELP CETL. In addition two CPD Holders from the first cohort of Award Holders were awarded Continuity Awards to give them the chance to build upon the work they had under taken on during the previous academic year. A diverse range of research and development work was completed by Award Holders which addresses many national and local educational agendas including education for sustainable development, personal development planning and employer engagement. This showcase presents an overview of the work 13 of the 2006- 07 Award Holders. As well as making a positive contribution to an individualâ s teaching practice, Award Holder work has, in several instances, had a wider impact on college policies and procedures and an impact on the wider UPC community. Several Award Holders have also disseminated their work at national conferences serving to further raise the profile of UPC within the national HE in FE arena. |
